Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center is organized into a central hall flanked by two wings, with one wing dedicated to large-scale exhibition spaces and the other primarily serving conference and banquet functions. The facility boasts a comprehensive functional layout, clear circulation routes, a modular structural system, and flexible usability. Its exterior design is both simple and elegant. On the lakeside façade, the sweeping, upward‑rising roofline and rhythmic colonnade evoke the image of dragon‑boat oars in motion, exuding an imposing presence that embodies a spirit of vigorous competition and united civic pride.

From 2017 to 2020, the Nantong Central Innovation Zone underwent profound transformation. The overall spatial configuration within the zone has gradually become more defined, with numerous ancillary projects currently under accelerated construction. Among these, the Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center stands out as a flagship development heavily invested in by the Central Innovation Zone, poised to become a new urban landmark for Nantong.

Located at the heart of Nantong’s urban spatial framework, the Central Innovation Zone connects east–west with the existing Central Business District, offering complementary functions. It serves as the primary engine and source of innovation driving Nantong’s ambition to become a city of excellence, while also functioning as a hub for cross‑border innovation resource collaboration, a demonstration zone for urban transformation, and the nucleus of Nantong’s future urban core. The Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center is situated on the shores of Zilang Lake, south of Tonghu Avenue and east of Xingfu Road, covering a total site area of approximately 300 mu and boasting a gross floor area of about 185,000 square meters. As a sixth‑generation smart convention and exhibition complex, it integrates conferencing, exhibitions, performing arts, dining, and hospitality under one roof, complemented by cultural and tourism amenities such as a theater and an art museum. The project comprises a conference center, an exhibition center, the Nantong Wuzhou Crown Hotel, a five‑star convention center hotel, and talent apartments.
