Gostinyy Dvor
Gostinyy Dvor
The Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center in Moscow, Russia, is a relic in the history of world architecture, located just 150 meters from the Kremlin. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in Moscow. The history of Gostiny Dvor can be traced back to the fourteenth century. At the end of the eighteenth century, the famous Italian architect Jacomo Kvarnegi undertook a new and complex project, transforming a building with a classic architectural style into a landmark of Moscow's architecture. In 1995, under the leadership of Mayor Luzhkov of Moscow, the exterior of the building was completely renovated, turning it into a modern commercial and cultural center with international service standards, combining the old with the intelligent in a perfect architectural blend.
After renovation, the total area of the Moscow Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center is 82,000 square meters, featuring hotels, shops, restaurants, banks, bars, offices, beauty salons, exhibition halls, and more. Although the exterior of the building remains virtually unchanged, the effective area has been increased. The Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center in Moscow is open from 10 am to 10 pm.
