The Mongolian National Sports Palace is located in the capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, built with assistance from the Soviet government in 1958. It can accommodate up to 12,500 people and serves as a multi-purpose sports arena. On weekdays, it primarily hosts various football matches, and the Naadam Festival of Mongolia is held here every July. Additionally, the Mongolian National Sports Palace hosted the 2016 World University Archery Championship.
The Mongolian National Sports Palace project covers an area of 4 hectares, with a building area of 15,304 square meters and a building height of 35.85 meters. The sports hall has 5,040 seats and can host competitions for various sports including volleyball, basketball, badminton, wrestling, and judo. The contract price for this project was 106.5 million Chinese yuan.
