Jiangsu Kunshan Huaqiao International Expo Center

Huaqiao International Expo Center is a key functional project within the Huaqiao International Business City. It adopts an operational model that integrates exhibitions with conferences, leverages conferences to drive exhibitions, and seamlessly combines both, positioning itself to “capitalize on Shanghai’s momentum, differentiate its functions from Suzhou, and synergize with Kunshan’s industries.” As a multifunctional, integrated service hub that brings together exhibitions, trade, commerce, office space, and conventions, it has established a comprehensive service system encompassing exhibition halls, technology, advertising, business services, and property management, striving to become the western sub-center of the Shanghai (Hongqiao) National Exhibition and Convention Center and an influential convention and exhibition industry cluster in Eastern China.

The Huaqiao International Expo Center covers a total land area of 215,000 square meters, with a total floor area of 124,000 square meters, offering nearly 100,000 square meters of usable exhibition and negotiation space. It comprises seven 10,000-square-meter exhibition halls and a 30,000-square-meter negotiation zone, capable of accommodating close to 3,500 international-standard booths.

The exhibition complex features a 4,300-square-meter conference area, including one multi-purpose auditorium seating 500 attendees and nine smaller to medium-sized meeting rooms ranging from 10 to 200 seats. It also includes a 5,100-square-meter banquet hall that can host up to 800 guests, along with a catering service area offering business‑friendly light meals, as well as a business center and other ancillary facilities. The venue provides a total of 1,700 parking spaces.

As a major international convention and exhibition center in the Yangtze River Delta region, strategically positioned at Shanghai’s gateway, the Huaqiao International Expo Center, with its unique geographic advantages for strategic outreach and its state-of-the-art facilities and functional capabilities, is poised to ride the robust growth momentum of China’s convention and exhibition sector, emerging as a dynamic force serving the exhibition economy of Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta, and beyond, both domestically and internationally.
