China Tianjin International Automobile Expo attracted a total of 633,000 visitors. A total of 4,213 journalists from 1,253 domestic and international media outlets witnessed the grandeur of the exhibition and the launch of new products and technologies together. A total of 980 vehicles were exhibited at the exhibition, including 7 global premieres by Chinese companies, 7 China premieres by multinational companies, 11 concept cars, 145 new energy vehicles, and over 30 new vehicle launches. Major mainstream car manufacturers, luxury brands, luxury modification brands, and new energy brands all participated with full vigor. On the first day of the media day, several car companies released new models at the exhibition site, showcasing the latest concepts and achievements in the automotive industry from multiple dimensions.

As a traditional base for the automobile industry, Tianjin has more than 1,000 automobile manufacturing enterprises, with nearly 130,000 employees. In 2020, the output value of the automotive industry was approximately 230 billion yuan, with sales of 1.26 million vehicles.
