Anqing Convention and Exhibition Center

The Anqing Convention and Exhibition Center in Anhui Province is located within the Yuandong New Area of Anqing’s National-level Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is currently one of Anqing’s largest and most comprehensively equipped professional exhibition complexes, with Phase I investment totaling RMB 970 million. The center occupies a total site area of 181 mu and boasts a gross floor area of 70,000 square meters. It comprises five column-free standard exhibition halls, each approximately 6,000 square meters in size, along with a grand entrance hall, a 10,000-square-meter convention center, and a 135-room star-rated hotel. The overall design draws inspiration from Tianzhu Mountain, a 5A‑level tourist attraction in Anqing, integrating the imagery of “water flowing gracefully around the mountain” into the architecture—where tower-like structures represent the mountain and exhibition halls evoke clouds, together evoking the poetic ambiance of “Tianzhu Stream and Flowing Clouds.”

With comprehensive supporting facilities and professional services, the Anqing Convention and Exhibition Center not only features its own on‑site hotel but is also surrounded by multiple business‑oriented hotels offering diverse styles and price ranges. The venue provides over 600 parking spaces, ensuring robust support for major trade shows and commercial events. Managed under contract by a specialized team from the Shanghai National Exhibition Center, it offers a full suite of solutions covering project initiation, planning, execution, investor recruitment, and ongoing operations.

Under the strong support and promotion of both national and provincial policies for the exhibition industry, the Anqing Municipal People’s Government has seized opportunities and introduced a series of measures to foster the sector’s growth. These initiatives have effectively expanded market participants, stimulated related industries such as manufacturing, tourism, and services, and extended and diversified the industrial value chain.

Anqing is actively cultivating upstream and downstream supporting industries, forming an industrial cluster centered on large-scale exhibition enterprises, supported by transportation, logistics, telecommunications, finance, tourism, catering, and accommodation, and complemented by services such as event planning, advertising, printing, design and installation, exhibition setup, and on‑site support.
