Bakery China, a significant platform for the global baking industry's trade and exchange, witnessed a notable international acceleration in 2024. The international exhibition area expanded by over 50% compared to previous years, attracting numerous international enterprises and brands from countries such as Japan and Italy. International exhibitors accounted for more than 20% of the total.

The four-day event in 2024 drew buyer delegations from emerging markets with high purchasing power, including Southeast Asia, South Asia/Northeast Asia, the Middle East, Western Europe, Eastern Europe & Central Europe, among others. Over 10,000 professional buyers from 130 countries and regions attended. To enhance interaction between domestic and foreign merchants, Bakery China 2024 hosted the "Bakery China Talk" session focusing on international supply chain brands, localization practices of international chain stores, exchanges of distinctive baking techniques from different countries, and cultural exchanges between Chinese and French pastry baking. A special area was set up for international business matchmaking, facilitating over 3,000 precise business matching sessions. This mutual pursuit between suppliers and demanders worldwide resulted in numerous on-site business orders, highlighting the value of Bakery China 2024 in promoting global trade cooperation.
